
Most of us don't have the time for a cooked breakfast everyday but at weekends and holidays when life is not so rushed this really is a meal to savour and enjoy!
The Full English Breakfast
Preparation time: 5 minutes
Cooking time: 20 minutes
Serves:2
4 slices local lean, dry cured bacon, for example Wiltshire or Dorset
2 sausages, for example Newmarket, Lincolnshire or Cumberland
2 eggs, scrambled with a little milk and few chopped chives
Tomato relish
Button mushrooms
Local breads to serve
Method
Start by grilling the sausages - the cooking time will vary according to the type and size but allow approximately 15 minutes and turn regularly. Around 5 minutes before the end of the cooking time add the bacon to the grill pan along with the mushrooms and whilst they are cooking scramble the eggs.
Serve immediately with a glass of fresh apple juice and assorted toasted bread.
